    A2159 Touch Bar sensor is not working.

    Hello, I have an MacBook Pro 2019 A2159 but the Touch Bar touchscreen is not working.
    I disassembled the laptop and I saw that L5100 is burned, I removed it and I connected that rail and it seems to be working. It's a problem if I leave it like this? Or I need to install a new inductor?

      Hi i have one Macbook Air 2020 where touch ID is not working (it's not scanning fingerprints). Touch ID was working before, there is no error message during scanning fingerprint it's just not scanning on screen you can see only fingerprint but there are no red updates as when it's working. Power button is working fine.

      Hello everyone, I bought a Microsoft Surface Pro 5 and the touch doesn't work. According to what the previous owner said, the screen stopped working after an update. The screen has no physical damage, and the touch works for 1 second when it turns on and then stops working. I've tried updating the drivers, formatting, and returning to factory defaults, but nothing worked. Can you help me?

      Hi All,


      New user here found this website because I am having some trouble fixing my macbook A2159.

      My wife accidentally pushed over a vase filled with water and just a tiny but splashed into my macbook..

      I opened it up and removed the motherboard to clean it with IPA. when it was dry i put it back together and it worked again. But when I close the lid it goes into sleep and it wont turn on the screen when I open the lid.
      The computer is running and working but only on an external monitor. I have to reset the computer to have it work...

      Hi everyone. I have this laptop after water damage. The main board wasn't really affected apart from a slight residue but components seem unharmed, but trackpad was very corroded and had to replace a few components.       Got a Thinkpad X380 Yoga with unknown history for cheap via ebay. Only screen was broken, rest working according to seller. As I had a another working screen from a donor X380 with a broken mainboard, I figured I could make a working Thinkpad from two broken ones. However after the screen swap the Touch and Pen feature still doesn't work, neither on Windows 11 nor in Linux (tested with various distros).
