ASUS TP501UA No Display on Battery

Hi to all, Hope someone can assist me....Got an ASUS TP501U in from a client. Laptop powers on, but screen will only initialize with the charger connected.
Battery takes and holds charge just fine. Also USB ports fail after a few minutes of use.
Latest BIOS loaded. RAM swapped. HDD's removed. Just Mainboard and screen plugged in...
I am thinking ITE IT8995 chip has failed or needs a reflow...Thoughts?

ON battery only, you dont get display on screen.Right? Attach a usb keyboard and see if numlock light glows on toggling numlock key. This'll confirm whether mb is posting in battery or not. Try another screen also.

POST if fine on battery. If I plug charger in, screen is perfect. Unplug the charger and I flickers and fades to black. It almost seems as if there is not enough power being provided when on battery. The battery however if in great condition. The reason I am considering the ITE IT8995 is because the USB3/USB-C ports are also affected.

Search for other threads with flickering screen on asus.Usually its the screen itself in case of asus. You just need to replace a coil marked "100" near backlit controller on the screen itself. Weird but works for many users. Thats why i asked you to try another screen.
