HP 6735s 5 caps lockblink not charging

hi, my hp 6735s giving 5 blink on caps lock then give display but not charging the bettery.

From what I understood on three different 6735s boards with the 5 blink problem, it occurs when there's a missing voltage on the board somewhere, possibly connected to the KBC chip. Just work through the schematic from the adapter and try and figure out what it is.

Possibly something's happened to the comparator circuit?

Interesting that it still boots though. Does it work fine on a charged battery then?
