    But that's not a GPU error code, thus, looks more like a power issue also causing video corruption.

    The adapter PSU may have failed or using an adapter with wrong amp and/or voltage rating.

      It doesn't have to be, a failing GPU can cause all sorts of codes, I used to repair them a while back and it seemed to be whichever code was pulled out of the bag.

        That sounds more like a text book symptom of CPU instability.

        Looks more like a compound problem, where they're multiple issues.

        I often suspect the PSU or caps.

        It does look like a problem with the system RAM. (Likely symptoms of failing RAM with onboard graphics)

            Easiest one is RAM. Test with one stick at a time and see what it does.

              Right on. The battery isn't the best, but it does hold a charge for a short time. If the power adapter was bad, would the battery hide the symptoms?
