Just wondering, do these cards work? To make diagnostics easier.

Port 80 POST cards work very well, particularly for the low price. At a minimum they tell you if your board has life when it won't show video. After a few screwups you start picking up on what some of the codes mean so you can instafix. C1, that memory must not be compatible. If it's counting the low numbers then I probably forgot to switch the KVM.
I have several but the only one I actively use is a card by QiGuan. -

there are 4in1 cards for laptops. So they fit every laptop mobo. I dont use it for the codes, but it is good to see clock and reset signals. and of course the codes work depending your experience with the card.Comment

I have both of these chinese made debug cards, but they seem to work only on the Z390 family and older chipsets.
Does anybody know whats the reason for this ?
Are there any other debug cards out there working on Z490 - Z790 chipset families ? -

I have an MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4 (MS-7525) which underwent LGA1700 replacement and had a missing resistor in the VRM section. The missing resistor RV170 (49,9Ω) has been resoldered, and I have also replaced a demaged LGA1700 socket.
Generally the board does boot to Windows, but not always in the first attempt, but after the second attemp to boot the board with Power Button. Also restarting the board from Windows ends up with stuck boot process, but restarting the board again (long push Power Button or switching off and on PSU). Under Windows etherything works... -
I would like to ask if there is some kind of capacitor lists for motherboards, power supplies, video cards, audio cards, microcontroller powered home appliances, and so, that i could try to find and download. I use to repair those things and i would find it helpful if i could know in advance what parts may i need for common repairs. -
Hello, I have an issue with the motherboard. Specifically, it doesn't power on, more precisely, the POST initialization doesn't occur.
Let me start from the beginning, the motherboard suddenly stopped working one day. There are no beep signals from the speaker, and the debug LEDs are not lighting up. After inspecting it under a microscope and using thermal imaging, I didn't find anything that could be damaged.

I'm new to MATS and can only use it after watching a Youtube video, downloading the one he linked to (version 400.184) and running it without changing anything. I have no great understanding of it.
I have 3 graphics cards in the house.
My son's - Palit GTX 1080 used for 3D games constantly.
Mine - Nvidia GTX 1080 not used for 3D games, just basic stuff.
Inno3D RTX 2080 I bought faulty hoping to repair for my son's PC.
