    acer aspire one kav60 no power

    i have this acer aspire kav60 with no power.voltages are ok at dc jeck and 6 voltages are present at power switch and they goes to 0 when i press it.i also check around pu4(tps 51427) no voltages only 8v at pin 5. then i check around pu10(tps 51610) nothing. so where should i check now.i already tried by reflashing bios but same.when i pluge in from dc power supply the power supply shows nothing. can have any ideas

    first find the schematic. Also measure current on standby.

      Well , I had similar but there was a BIOS issue. If you flashed BIOS and still nothing looks like you gut long walk ahead...

              Yup! It won't work because it has no power so you can't enter the bios recovery with crisis disk. It applies, not always but some aspire one with power but no display even you've done the usual stuff isolate memory stick and adapter.

              You need to check the standby volts from power switch and also the bios, most likely it 's windbond.
