                    Hi,

I recently got a real weird problem with the mobo.
It was working fine on AC with battery in (but no battery indicator was on).
I figured "lets make it a happy working laptop" and bought a new battery.

First the PC started ... and it turned off on windows boot ... I said "WT...".
On second boot it opened windows i checked the power settings and it was saying "46% -> not charging" and it shut down. Last but not least i booted it again and it finally shutdown. Then It would not boot just the AC power amber LED blinked 3 times. I tried the old battery - but even the LED didn't blink.

Finally after reseting(15sec power off without any source) the laptop: When I plug in the cable the white LED blinks once and fades. I can try to boot up -> The fans go on and it turns off. On the old battery nothing happens during boot.

Any ideas for a newbie troubleshooter appreciated .
