    Help with Dell 1501 Laptop

Hey guys, I need some help with a Dell 1501 laptop motherboard.

I'm trying to identify a part that was damaged near the charging port so I can buy a replacement.
Below is a pic of the same model board with an arrow pointing to the part.

I know this isnt much to go on but a simular looking part was on the reverse side of the board and had: TXCefod 25.000 written on top. It appears to be some sort of crystal quartz peice but no clue on the exact part, type or specs. Hoping maybe someone here has addressed this or has a schematic to look this part up.

Hi, you need a qurtz rezonator for 25 MHz ! It is the resonator for your network card.

The part on the bottom of the circuit board to the right of the battery terminals right most very close you will see a 3r3 coil under that are 2 black mosfets side by side then the 3rd big brown smd ceramic capacitor not the other 2 small ceramic caps directly above its the bigger brown smd cap just above pr11 is what I need specs for, It blew open need to know the values its not on my dell 1501 schematic, forum wont let me post a picture please look at top of this thread for picture

You should be able to post attachments. Do you see the 'upload attachments' button on the lower left side of your window?

What other markings do you see on the silk screen? Something like 'LA-****' or similar?

Do you mean the yellow / brown SMD parts as attached? These are polarized tantalum caps. Do you have either one still onboard?

This is a non-polarized ceramic capacitor but not sure of its value or voltage rating. For the voltage rating, you will have to measure the voltage to ground of each of the PCB pads used by this component. One side will most likely be ground, the other side will be the operating rail. The capacitor must be rated at a higher voltage than this measured voltage.

The computer is turning off and on without pressing the power button with battery in and with it removed does this like 5x plus then went off. I unplugged cord and plug back in starts going on off on offf on offf fan spins for a few sec voltage at part is 19.53v dc when it's on I see it drop to 19.22v off and plugged in reads 19.53v its turned off and on 12x plus, Then i pulled the power plug note lcd screen is disconnected ,and i removed the hard drive the ram is installed when it first started doing this id hear the hard drive spin up then turn off to prevent damage i removed the hard drive..

                                    Dear all,

Bought this used Dell laptop PP24L(studio 1435) in Jan 2022. It was running smooth on 64 bit Windows 7 pro from processor Intel core Duo T6400@2Ghz with 2GB RAM. The laptop battery was charging and working fine until few months back the opening screen will display something like "replacing the battery warning", press F1 to continue. Normally i press F1, the laptop will proceed to Windows and i can use as normal.

But last week, after i pressed F1, the laptop just shut down. I suspected the laptop battery is dead. So i pulled out the battery and...

Hi, I'm unable to find the motherboard number (PPID number) or the board view for this old laptop. My laptop won't start, and when I enter the serial number on the Dell website, it says the number is invalid. The sticker on the bottom is unreadable because it has faded over time. Unfortunately, I'm unable to start the laptop to use the power cell or explore other options.I needed the CMOS Cell & it also seems the Laptop will not start now because of the power switch issue, which is yet to be detected.

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
                                    by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

                                    Hi,

I have this laptop for a long time, still it does it's job, like browsing, word , excel. Two years back laptop Hinge base broken but now it's damaging other parts of laptop so I tried to totally remove the embedded display cable from laptop and tried to boot only with external display monitor, but it doesn't boot and gives single beeps. BIOS checking the embedded display to be connected.
So checked the schematics to bypass this issue.
Found something but I don't know how to read this schematics.
