White screen Dell studio one 1909

I think this forum may be the correct place to post this?
I was fortunate or unfortunate I guess depending on how you want to look at it to get my hands on a Dell studio one 1909 all in one touch screen.
This was minus the hard drive and inverter.
I am able to turn the computer on and the 2 fans spin, I am also able to turn on the back lights with an external inverter. But I get just a white screen.
Anybody worked on one of these things?

An update,
After disassembly and looking for a fuse on the attached t con, I can't tell for sure it's either a jumper or a fuse but it is good.
I have an Acer 18.5 LCD just sitting around so I installed the touch screen panel from the Dell into the Acer and I get a good picture so the panel is good, and I have either a mother board or flat flex cable issue.
White screen usually means a power to the panel issue; I guess I need to find a schematic to see what's missing.
The third picture shows where the LVDS cable plugs in.
If any body has any ideas please let me know.

An update,

Hi - did you (a) leave the dell cable on the dell screen to attach it to the Acer?
if so the board end of the dell cable must be compatible with the acer?
or (b)did you use the acer cable to attach the dell screen to the acer
if so the screen end of the acer cable must be compatible with the dell?

If (a) can you try the acer screen and acer cable in the dell or
if (b) try the acer screen with the dell cable in the dell

Blue = Me Thinking!! I've read it several times and I think thats what I mean

I cant really tell from the pic but assume all pins present and correct in the dell board socket

A white screen, if not related to the screen hardware, could be a BGA issue. I've seen this happen, the screen can be white or black.

If so, it needs to be reballed or reflowed.
