    Battery not Charge NM-B421

Hello i have this circuit and my battery not charge.
I was changed PU101, PQ103,PQ101,PQ102, the battery and the problem is the same.

    When the bactery is conected:

    PQ103:
    pin1: 19v
    pin4: 19v
    pin5: 11v

when the bactery is not conected:

    PQ103:
    pin1: 19v
    pin4: 8v
    pin5: 19v

Why works the opposite? EC Problem and need programing?

    Re: Battery not Charge

NVDC should not produce 19V on main power rail.

Which model / make of unit are you repairing? Is there a full schematic in the schematic forum? Post only the links here (not the schematic).

          PIN 7 -- VDDA have 0.14V

          There is anything wrong...

            Re: Battery not Charge

Investigate the resistance across PR112. Remove all power. Meter in lowest resistance mode.

Check the resistance across PR112 which should be ~10 ohms. This resistor is mated with REGN and you have posted REGN (pin #28) = 6 volts. VDDA is the other side of PR112 so VDDA should be ~6 volts. If it is not, PR112 is defective.

              Re: Battery not Charge

As piernov already highlighted, a NVDC circuit should not deliver 20Volts at B+ and especially no 20V at the BATT+ rail. The simplest reason is usually the right one. A internal shorted PQ101 (or PQ102?) or even worse: You have these Dual-Mosfets not replaced with compatible components? But since you figured also some wrong /missing voltages around the charging controller the issue could be there instead, yes.

This would be clarified immediately as soon as you share pictures of your work with the replacements visible.

                  Re: Battery not Charge

Post a clear picture of this missing part. It is required to be onboard but a solder short will also work in its place. Want to review the pcb pads where this part was located.

Remove all power. Meter in resistance mode. Measure the resistance across the 2 pcb pads for this resistor. What is the resistance?
