U3100 is the chip that switch to 20v

According to This usb type c tester, i’ve discovered that on the ports that doesn’t switch to 20v, i have wrong value on pin 6/7/18…All 3 ports, same wrong value on same pins

You can see the values on the port that switch to 20v

                https://ibb.co/gSqW21y

                https://ibb.co/LR9xj0S

                this pins are (i think) d+ / d- and corrispond to pin usb top N /top P bot N / bot p on motherboard...

those pins goes directly under each cd3215....except for the port that works....in this case they go to usb3000 and then under cd3215...so i think it's because of this that values are different

@phantomEVO I am 70% sure it is one of the CD32.... chip issue probably the side where you have no voltage at all, other 30% would say u3000 is burnt a bit or damaged, that also makes macbook 5v in every port. if you have thermal cam, one of the chips should be hot

then swap out 3 of the cd32 chips, I use donor boards for chips. I have repaired over 2k macbooks by now. it might happen, usually i have cd32 problems because people are using low quality usb-c cables that are very loose.

Hi, I found short on one of 6 black nand (total 1TB).
i removed all 6 nand ( voltages all ok) and now i want to program with JC P15 but for A1990 2019 there is only 512GB configuration.
I try A2141 1TB configurazion with TSB4228 but the position on pcb is different ( U9300 and U9400 is no stuff on A1990 but present on A2141 and U8800 and U8900 is no stuff on A2141 but present on A1990 )
macbook with A2141 configuration run on recovery but don't complete it.
                          anyone can help me?

                          by master_haze86
                          Good day everyone,

Let me preface this with letting you know that I have a smalltime computer repair shop but do not have a lot of experience when it comes to board diagnostics. I am good at soldering etc but finding the issue if there isn't an obvious burnt component is not my strong suit.

The other day I got a customer come in with a macbook A1990 (motherboard 820-01814-A) that would not turn on and had previously been getting the warning message that the battery needed servicing. (Most folks seem to ignore that message, just like the check engine light in vehicles.)...

Hello, can anyone tell me where I can get this 26-pin FPC connector? What is the connector for?So that one's also for the Touch Bar. I thought only the FPC at the top was for the Touch Bar. But where can I get it? I can't find the connector online. I only found the 22nd pin. Thank you....

                          Macbook Pro a1990 activation locked
                          by falcontech
                          Hi,
I received a 2018 MacBook Pro A1990 for repair, and the motherboard was replaced, presumably purchased on AliExpress. The motherboard's activation is blocked because the previous owner didn't delete it. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I called Apple, and as expected, they asked me to activate the process with proof of purchase for the original computer, which I find very difficult, so the proof of purchase from AliExpress will be of little use. Any suggestions? Thanks.

                          Hello.
Have this two Apple A1990 EMC3215 that starting to 5W and power off. Byt Thermocam i see that T2 ic is heating little too much right when consumption start to raise.
I dont find any short in coils for it and it looks like there are voltages

Any hint or bad T2 is common on this boards?
