I change the same N ch mosfet nothing happen and i also change Charger ic nothing happen when i jumper Pin 5 to pin 1 19v Comes out and also 3V and 5V comes out power switch can on but 0.044 amp on DC Supply where can i check please

Re: Help me 19V is missing on mosfet on LA-G07JP rev 2.0
Your ACDRV is missing GATE voltage must be high 22-28V+
Check resistance ACDRV CHARGING IC
Check resistance Diode mode
Source-Gate
Source-Drain
Gate-Drain
of both the dc-in fets
Voltage on PDB1 3 pins
Uploaded the schematic in Schematic sectionLast edited by Techtiger; 09-26-2023, 01:25 PM. -

Besides following the suggestions by @techtiger, report back on status of ACOK/ACDETComment

Re: Help me 19V is missing on mosfet on LA-G07JP rev 2.0
replace both mosfets. if one is bad power will not pass first mosfet
and as it is HP u will need to check function of PS ID circuit
as u r using PSU that way it will not work if u dont have right resitance custom power cableLast edited by ktmmotocross; 09-27-2023, 03:33 PM.Comment

Re: Help me 19V is missing on mosfet on LA-G07JP rev 2.0
Thanks Sir now i check as you say sir, PDB1 Pin1 has 19v pin2 has 1.2v pin3 has 19v sir ( the coil PLZ3 has shock to ground sir )
ACDRV resistor (PRB9) has 4.1K sir
DC IN Fets PQB11 and PQB12 were good
Where do i check sirLast edited by kotar; 09-29-2023, 10:42 AM.Comment

Re: Help me 19V is missing on mosfet on LA-G07JP rev 2.0
test the PQB13 SDG diode modes and PRB1 diode mode, and upload the measurements. Also, check the voltage of PUB1 pin 16Comment

Re: Help me 19V is missing on mosfet on LA-G07JP rev 2.0
pqb13 S to D = open, S to G = open, S to D = open
when remove fet and test S to D = open , S to G = open , S to D = short with 0 (Buzzing sound)
PRB1 with diode mode = 0.00 and (buzzing sound)
PUB1 pin 16 = 5.92 V
what should i do sir
Thanks for helping me sirComment

by Chewy6288I recently bought this laptop to try to fix up because it was so cheap. It has no power so I figured it was a MOSFET or cap issue so I started with taking it apart, but when I had it apart I noticed one of the MOSFETs was missing. I'm new to this so I don't know where or how to look up what to replace it with. I do have the boardview for it so I somewhat know what was there which I attached ,and the missing piece is PQ303....

by JaneI tried to use this method:
Testing an N-channel MOSFET:
Step 1: Discharge the Gate (turn off the MOSFET)
Place the black probe (COM) on the Source (S) and the red probe on the Drain (D). The multimeter should show no continuity (high resistance or "OL" – open line).
Then, touch the black probe to the Source (S) and the red probe to the Gate (G). This discharges any stored charge in the Gate, turning the MOSFET off.
Step 2: Charge the Gate (turn on the MOSFET)
Now, place the red probe on the Gate (G) and the black probe on the...09-27-2024, 03:31 AM -
by NooyHello everyone, I recently found this badcaps site and super Learn Electronics Repair youtube channel. And I wanted to learn how to troubleshoot power supplies and VGA cards and how to practice soldering, since I already have a properly defective piece of them. I am currently trying to solve two problems:
I have a Gigabyte GV-RX460WF2OC-4GD type card. I managed to find the faulty MOSfet (AON6414A) on it, which I replaced. The card starts up, but after about half a minute, the MOSfet in the same position will be shorted again. Is it possible that the PWM controller driving the MOSfet... -
by redbaron1007I have a Razer laptop (RZ09 MB# CH570_MB_NT) that has a shorted mosfet marked BND M03 E067 that I'm unable to find anywhere online. Does anyone either know what the part number is for this mosfet or have a schematic I can find it in?
Backstory on the whole thing the laptop was plugged into a lamp at a hotel. The lamp got unplugged while it was charging and now the system won't power on anymore. I found the caps around this mosfet shorted and when I injected voltage into the caps the mosfet got hot and my bench psu was pulling 5A. Pretty sure this is all that's wrong with the laptop...1 Photo - Loading...
