    820-02020 A2338 Restore/Revive Failed

    A2338 - Pristine condition.. I took out of the board and inspected it.. nothing.. as if the computer is barely used even.

    Anyway, customer said they tried erasing/formatting it and it got stuck on Apple logo preventing to go further.. I asked them why they tried to erase it from the first place? They said it turned off randomly once.. then they erased it and it worked out for a few days then it shut off again..

    I put the computer in DFU; I downloaded the latest Ventura IPSW and restored it.. during the "Installing.." it restarts then it shows the exclamation mark with Apple link to restore..

    I got numerous error codes among them: 4013, 4010, 21..

    I reprogrammed SoC ROM with clean BIN. After restore it gave me error 6 (while I think it lasted longer in "Installing..").. I restored another time and it gave me error 100.
    (still refusing to enter boot select)

    I tried erasing the SoC ROM and still not completing the DFU restore/install.. getting error 4010..

    One thing I have completely skipped out during the troubleshooting process is that it takes 5v 0 amps or 20v 0 amps.. it's not drawing whatsoever.. in this situation is should draw 0.05 to 0.1

    One thing I've noticed before I return the original ROM data is that the ROM is still erased as it is.. the restore/install has not even reached the process or the segment where it writes on ROM.

    Both ports behaving the same. 20V 0.0A

    PPBUS (with battery) = 13v
    PPBUS (without battery) = 12v
    PP3v8_AON = 3.3v
    PP3v3_S2 = 3.3v
    PP3v3_S2_UPC = 3.3v
    PP5v_S2 = 5.1v
    PP1v25_S2 = 1.25v

    PPBUS is being low where it should be around 12.6 and above if I remember correctly.
