burned mosfet wich has written on top "I6 GUE 8v1507"

Hi, Im having a similar problem with my Acer Nitro 5 AN517 52, took it to repair and they said that the problem was a burned mosfet wich has written on top "I6 GUE 8v1507".
There is written PQB12 on the motherboard right next to it.
Does anyone know if there is soemthing similar I can buy to replace it with?
Seems impossible to find theidentical mosfet online.

See attached for the datasheet for this mosfet. This is a very common mosfet used on many motherboards. Would you have a donor board? If yes, review the mosfets that are available to you.

Post their topside markings for a quick review.

        In short:

        1) need a mosfet with the same size = 5 x 6 mm PCB footprint
        2) N-channel
        3) As high current support as possible. It should be at least the same as the original but higher is even better.
        4) 30V Source drain voltage support

Any Idea for repair L13 Gen2 LAR-2 PD Charger Mosfet CSD87501L always Burned
            by Mike_Ho
            Dear All

Anybody have experience to repair L13 Gen2 Board Number : LAR-2 PD charger problem?

I have one board the U4201 CSD87501L are burned and the 20V_VBUS_USB2 can't switch to 20V_VINT_IN, after replace this Mosfet it's still very HOT and just use few hours will burned again. i have repeat replace this Mosfet 3 times and all dead.

After that i try to shorted Mosfet Source 1 to Source 2 to bypass the 20V, and found the Control Gate 1 and Gate 2 voltage both are 20v same with 20V_VBUS_USB2.🤨

So did anybody know this case will need to replace...

How do you test MOSFET in laptops ?
            by Jane
I tried to use this method:

            Testing an N-channel MOSFET:

Step 1: Discharge the Gate (turn off the MOSFET)
Place the black probe (COM) on the Source (S) and the red probe on the Drain (D). The multimeter should show no continuity (high resistance or "OL" – open line).
Then, touch the black probe to the Source (S) and the red probe to the Gate (G). This discharges any stored charge in the Gate, turning the MOSFET off.

Step 2: Charge the Gate (turn on the MOSFET)
Now, place the red probe on the Gate (G) and the black probe on the

            HP Pavilion X360 burned mosfet
            by Roll
Hi, I have a HP Pavilion x360 - 15-dq0007nc (just about 26 months old) with burned mosfet. Sadly I didn't found any boardview or schematic for this model, so I need your help with this.

The mosfet right next to it is probably SM3319NSQA N-channel.
The burned one is connected to a Sic634 pin 8-11 "Power stage input voltage. Drain of high-side MOSFET" So it should be a P-channel? Can you help me with finding the right replacement?

Also I measured about 15 ohms to the ground on the coil. But I didn't remove the burned stuff yet - it will wait until...

High side mosfet of the power supply of the RTX2060 graphic chip burned out
            by zwerw3
Hello. They brought a personal computer for repair in which the video card was GeForce RTX â„¢ 2060 WINDFORCE OC 6G (rev. 1.0). Graphics core power mosfet burned out.
Is there a chance to restore the site where the mosfet was? I started to grind the mosfet substrate with a dremel, which stuck to the board, but for now I stopped and decided to ask you for advice. I also noticed dark spots on the PCB near the video memory chips. Does this mean that the video memory is out of order? I cleaned the place where there was a burnout, a short circuit of 12 V was removed. On the coils on the power...

VGA MOSfet permanently shorted and loss of MOSfet pad
            by Nooy
Hello everyone, I recently found this badcaps site and super Learn Electronics Repair youtube channel. And I wanted to learn how to troubleshoot power supplies and VGA cards and how to practice soldering, since I already have a properly defective piece of them. I am currently trying to solve two problems:

I have a Gigabyte GV-RX460WF2OC-4GD type card. I managed to find the faulty MOSfet (AON6414A) on it, which I replaced. The card starts up, but after about half a minute, the MOSfet in the same position will be shorted again. Is it possible that the PWM controller driving the MOSfet...
