    DAH98MMB8D0 REV: D HF board component doubt

    Hello everyone. I would like to ask for your help. I am reviewing the DAH98MMB8D0 REV: D HF board whose behavior is that when turning on the notebook (which is from the Honor brand) it only turns on leds of the keys caps Lock and FN. I thought it could be a Bios problem, but when I observed I saw that a component was overheating when connecting the charger. This is component MPNL 8694 1665. I have searched for information and found nothing. Not what it is, if it is a mosfet or another component. Can someone help me identify it?

    The company who made this IC is MPS (monolithic power Systems) , MP is a prefix for the company , and NL is the type of package which here is : QFN (3x4) , and 8694 is the Part number . the 1665 stands for Z ==> reels packaging .

    The problem is , this package isn't found anywhere to buy , probably because it's discrete , discontinued or for evaluation .

    We'll keep searching anyway .

      Thank you very much for your response, as you have helped me identify that DrMos. It's a shame that there are no replacements available because I detected a short just in this DrMos on the board. I really appreciate your time. Do you know if there is any alternative to replace it? Also, do you know what type of inductor this is? I can't find any references for it either

        Welcome Arkangelus;

        This inductor is a Panasonic power inductor choke coil .. Its value is 0.15 mh , the c stands for molded package and 033 for reference ..
        The attached pictures show that it's from the Panasonic series MC , and the part number is PCC-M0730L ..

        I'll tell you also tomorrow what you can do concerning the 8694 ..

            Infinite thanks for responding and taking the time to help me identify these components. I truly appreciate all the information and assistance you are giving me. You're the best! Look, I found a DrMos very similar to the 8694 and I think it could be compatible. I'll leave the link below for MP86934GLT-Z MP86934 8694 QFN on AliExpress: https://es.aliexpress.com/i/1005003719623091.html

              I always keep my promises , welcome again ..

              What I wanted to tell you , is , if you're acknowledged in Electronics , you could easily find the difference between packages , and if you want other easy ways , here's how I solved similar problems :

              1) - I keep putting the specific part number in the big sites , (AE , AB , Amazon , Ebay , etc ...) , and then wait for a week or two , sometimes a month , and their search engines would provided it consequently !!!

              2) - A donor or similar defected board ..

                Thank you very much for your advice Jiroy, I will take them into account because I am someone who is new to electronics and I find it difficult to identify some electronic components and understand how they work. Thank you so much. I tell you that the MP8694 is similar to the one I am looking for, since it has 21 terminals that are exactly the same.

                On the other hand, the R15C inductor is currently impossible to find since Panasonic has discontinued it and neither Aliexpress nor eBay has it available. I would have to apply point number 2 of your advice there, because I have only seen that resistor in equipment with 10th or 11th generation i5 processors. I will have to search for a donor board
