Hi, I got L380 that I don't know the history. But when I turn it on it gives me some melody error. I try with lenovo diagnostic tool on my smartphone and it gave me error code 011028, but there is no record of that error in their code library. I tried to disconnect everything from motherboard except speakers and same thing, tried memory in different slot same thing. Any idea ?

Comeon man, you have 230 posts here and you only mention of melody(which only you has listened) and expect us to give suggestion? Give us voltage measurements on all coils when its beeping out the melody. -

If you have a multimeter, put black probe to Ground and Red probe on all coil. the measurements should be after power on. Meter should be set to 20V DC.Comment

Friend told me he struggle with it for 3 days, don't know if it's true, but he manage to fix it, said that supply for dc dc converter on motherboard failed. Charged me 50 euros for it...Last edited by Thermaltake; 05-01-2023, 01:48 PM.Comment

Yes, that error. And I did try that, among other things that I found online, but nothing help.
What I found out that my friend reprogram the bios and ME region and didn't know how to deal with that, that's why he struggle for 3 days. it wasn't supply for dc converter as he said to me at first, he said that probably to charge me more.

Hello,
I followed this link to remove bios pass from T470 https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...=lenovo+melody . I generate patched file, wrote it on chip and soldered back to board. When I booted the laptop 0001 error melody started, I removed all batteries and reboot with no result. Then I wrote back the original backup with the same error melody on boot and black screen.. How to fix it ? chip: 25L12873F. I attached the backup.... -

Lenovo Thinkpad E14 Gen 3, stuck on the "To interrupt normal startup, press Enter" screen.
Found a lot of people with this issue, but with no definitive answer. Some people managed to get away accessing BIOS, going to Startup and turning off "Option Key Display". For me that only removed the interrupt normal start up message, leaving only the Lenovo logo.
