    Macbook Air A1466 820-3437

    Hello,
    Namaste.

I have a Macbook Air A1466 820-3437. After turning it off and keeping it away for 10 min, it wont turn on again until the Battery Connector isnt plugged and unplugged. But if it is turned on immediately after switching off, it turns back on. Very weird issue.

PPBUS is 9.42V - Seems very high.

Remove all power. Meter in DIODE mode. Check the operation of the dual diode @D7005.

      Resistance to Ground
      D7005

      Meter set to 2K Scale

      Pin#1 is .129
      Pin#2 is 1
      Pin#3 is .355

Replaced the Trackpad flex cable. Now the problem seems to have gone. But the PPBUS is still very high - 9.7V

Are you using an official power adapter?

What are the voltage to ground readings for each pin of D7005?

        Is the 3v42 rail stable?

Confirm the voltage to ground of the SMBUS pins mating with this ISL device.

The ISL regulator may be defective.
