      Top 2 pins are ground
Other pin connected to 19v rail 470 ohms resistor

But pin 1 and 2 are in ground. Doesn't make sense.

              It's definitely a BSS138 , now what's its purpose here , i need a schematic to tell ..

I don't know, but 19c charger V comes into a 470ohm resistor then to this ic.

I'll check my schematics to see if I have this model .. In between , I've seen even some transistors used as only a 2 pins diode , so I can't tell right now .

They don't look connected to me, there's a gate drive trace going under the component. Maybe discharge MOSFET.

Re: Help identify J1 chip Toshiba R50-B Laptop

The best I could get is a high resolution picture from a similar laptop R50-B , Not a schematic .. It shows clearly that the 2 pins aren't connected to the ground otherwise they would be soldered on the same trace , logically .
Now either , like Piernov mentioned , discharge mosfet , or check if something abnormal happening like an open or short mosfet .

Lenovo laptop does not turn on, what does this number mean in a BIOS chip?

Hello, first of all, excuse me, I am using the translator, English is not my native language.

                        I have a Lenovo ideapad 330S - 14IKB laptop.

The tablet did not recognize me when I connected it, so I checked the device manager and I realized that there were many with the exclamation mark, so one by one I began to update their drivers until the sign disappeared of admiration, I even updated the BIOS, and the laptop rebooted normally and worked, so far so good, but the tablet still did not recognize me, I read on the internet that it could be due to a...

ASRock B650M PRO RS - BIOS CHIP 25Q256JW BLOCKED BY STATUS REGISTERS
                        by DynaxSC
                        Hi

I have a very strange issue with the BIOS SPI chip of an ASRock B650M PRO RS motherboard.
The SPI chip is an Winbond 25Q256JWEQ model (1V8).
The motherbaord doas not POST - it lits only CPU and DRAM EZ Debug Leds, and stays that way forever.
The Flashback function of the motherbaord is also not working, despite all instructions followed correctly - I'm 100% sure of this.

I have then desoldered the chip, backupped the contents, and tried to earease the chip in order to program stock image, but the chip is locked by status registers SREG2 (TB) and SREG6...

                        Asus laptop EC/SIO chip replacement
                        by ebugs
Asus Vivobook 15 (board X513ea R2.0) gone dead when user plugged an iPhone cable into the USB-C port during boot. Now there's no LED light, no power at all. I checked all MOSFETs and capacitors, no shorts found. The board only has 3.3V and 5V present, no other voltages.

I injected 3.3V into the EC chip power rail (ITE IT5125VG 128), and it draws 80mA, while the 3.3V LDO chip RT8249C has a max output of 100mA. I checked the boardview and found there are only two chips on this 3.3V rail, EC and Realtek audio chip. So I think EC could be the problem.

                        I found the EC chip...

Toshiba Portege Z30-A - Burned Chip Identify
                        by kodox
received unit with no power at all, pluged bench PSU and not consuming any amperage, measurement shows that 19V only reaching first mosfet & gate voltage only 6V.
visual inspection found that it has burned chip, marking code wasn't too clear under microscope, i guess it's "A C C I". the chip is located under huge diode with UCQ1QA03 marking on it, since i don't find any schematic or boardview for this model, wandering that someone had similiar board and kindly measure what voltage comeout from the inductor connected to that chip or maybe knew what model number of the chip...
