We have the RT809H listed in the "BIOS guides, methods, resources and tools" thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=103526
There are links to the support list, and software

The most popular programmers that many laptop repair shops use are RT809H, Vertyanov SUCCESSOR , SVOD4 .All will program SPI chips, you can add new chips to them yourself even if they aren`t in the support list. And all three program EC`s

      Re: aquestion about RT809h programmer

I'm praying someone can create a configuration file so the RT809H can read ENE controllers with memory sizes beyond 128kb, because I've tried programming KB9542Q (160kb) without success. You can only choose KB90xx from the drop-down menu with no option to choose between 128kb or 160kb like the SVOD. I also have SVOD but it always programs that EC with errors ...

        RT809H Programmer Firmware Corrupted
        by Teeheeze
This is a shot in the dark, but I was just using my RT809H programmer and it got stuck in a certain state so I power cycled it. Now, the device LED just flashes quickly and does not connect to the software. I've tried to update the BIOS of it and it fails. I went so far as to remove the ROM from the programmer itself but it's some weird chip (I believe ATMEL, but I can't find any datasheet on it) so I've been unable to read the BIN from it w/ my other programmer. Chip has ATMLHC4C56BM CN written on it (I think). I'll upload an image. I have the programmer's BIN ready to program it manually. Anyone...

The new xgecu T76 vs rt809h programmer
        by sassan
        hello,

i want to buy a new programmer mainly for use for laptops bios chips and i'm between the Xgecu T76 and the famous RT809H.
i think that T76 is faster wich makes it the best choice for using Pogo pins,i asked the support if it supports Mec ships found on some Lenovo laptops i didn't get an answer yet.

i would like some ideas and which one do you recommend?...

The right BIOS Programmer - The right software (HP Elitebook 820 G1, 840 G2) no soldering, EC, DMI, ME
        by STKR123
        Greetings badcaps community,

I havent done this for a long time and want to start it all again, after some evil and annyoing illness.
So I apologize in advance, if some phrases might sound a bit like gibberish or illogical to you.

Im trying my best to fully describe what I plan to achieve and hope I was choosing the right sub-forum for my new adventure.

        I have a Elitebook 820 G1 and a Elitebook 840 G2 here.

These ask for a password when entering the BIOS, but boot just fine from the internal SSD.

        I learned that desoldering...

RT809H Programmer Not Detecting Any Chip
        by shani
        Hi guys

My RT809H is not detecting any chip. Whenever i try to detect any chip it's keep showing me messages.

Chip pins is detected poor contact, operation has been terminated.
        chipPin: 6-30-24
Chip ID identified error, the chip not well placed or has been damage.

No matter which chip i use or which adapter i use it's keep giving me random messages and random errors.

If you look at the picture 1 and 2 same thing happen here is well. random errors here is well.

How to Program IT8519E Externally with RT809H Programmer
        by mferna14
Hi I want to read/program the KBC file off IT8519E. Does anyone know how to do this. I have physically removed the IT8519E chip from the motherboard & I have soldered it on the addon programmable card to program on the RT809H. How will I do this? Do I have to apply 3.3 volt & ground externally from a bench power supply?? It will be great if someone can guide me, first time I will be doing this programming. Thanks
