jeep quit on the road and had to have it towed. Computer went down. Priced a new one for $600 and a repaired one of $300. Opened it up and found leaking caps. replaced them for $6 and on the road again.

iirc one of topcat's (the forum's owner and admin) z cars had the same problem.
95 sounds a bit old for the plague though... was it the original computer?sigpic

And did the vehicle computer ever get flodded?My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.Comment

this is common with obd1 honda ecu's
