jeep quit on the road and had to have it towed. Computer went down. Priced a new one for $600 and a repaired one of $300. Opened it up and found leaking caps. replaced them for $6 and on the road again.

What was the manufacturer and series of electrolytic capacitors used as replacements?
And did the vehicle computer ever get flodded?My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.
