    weird help needed

I need help finding a part number for this tiny break-beam sensor.
I joined pictures with dimensions. sorry for the bad quality but what im trying to fix is my actual camera hehe. you can see one side is broken off and gone.

basically, they are roughly 100mil by 65mil. Post your suggestion on what they could also be called.

        What make/model are you repairing?

I can't make out much from those pics. Trying to imagine it not busted into two pieces. Did find things like this pic

PS Quebec is on the Metric system, all dimensions I found are Metric

yeah, thats what it is on your picture. thats how it should look

It's usually used in conjunction with an encoder wheel .

I posted in imperial because thought people were more used to it on here..
The dimensions are 2.5mm by 1.5 mm

(Weird) BIOS info for HP Pavilion Aero 13-be1021AU
                      by Loki_Fido
                      Hi folks,

This HP Pavilion Aero 13-be1021AU came to me for a repair. And it seems to have a weird BIOS chip. (Pic attached)
I asked my CH341A to read it and doesn't even know what to do with this. We are both very confused.

                      BIOS - XMC 25RU128CH10 (1.8v)

What the heck is this? I looked all over the MB. This is the only bios.
When I asked the NeoProgrammer to detect it, it just pops up an empty screen, and asked me to enter the bios number. And when I did, it doesn't do anything. NeoProgrammer showed me just this SPI ID: 204418. Don't know what...

APC BR1000G battery backup has a weird issue sometimes a bad battery icon and making a weird sound for about 30 seconds
                      by sam_sam_sam
This started a few days ago and does this about every 8 hours

After it does this it goes back to normal no bad battery icon and no weird sounds and it goes to battery backup mode so I am not sure what is going on with this battery backup

The battery backup is about 3 or 4 years old

Dose anyone have any idea on how to troubleshoot this issue I have never had a battery backup do this kind-a thing before so I am not sure exactly how to troubleshoot it and where to start

820-02020 Super Weird Issue: Keyboard Input Character Map "Wrong"?
                      by ugamazing
So, I have a really bizarre issue that I'm struggling to identify the cause of. Working on an 820-02020 board with some bizarre keyboard/input-source character mapping. My suspicion is a possible damaged SPI ROM (U1970), perhaps, but I'm really not sure in this case:

                      1. The issue is pretty weird, but when installing MacOS, I noticed my WiFi password did not work. I quickly realized the special characters (!@#$%^& etc) were not mapping correctly.

                      2. I noticed the keyboard layout/input-source is defaulting to JAPANESE every single time I restore the board. I am not...

                      A1990 2019 touchbar weird behaviour
                      by arashmoayyedizadeh
Hello to all of you engineers
i have a macbook pro a1990 in no power condition
another shop had done some works on it with no success (pm ic was reflowed, a little bit of flux around one of the type c rom ic, changing the charging ic)
initial state: 5v 0amps on all 4 type c sockets
after some inspections i realized the charging ic that another shop installed is isl9239
I changed it with right one (isl9240) and the machine turned on and booted into macos
                      weird behaviour:
Lcd works ok until it boots to os and as soon as you see login page it goes black...
