Troubleshooting PS5 EDM-033 - Good boot sequence but no power

Hi there!

I need some help with an PS5 motherboard versione EDM-033.

Console has good boot sequence , 12V and +-300mah the stabilize at 0.005 waiting for power button. Pressing the button I can hear one beep and the current drop off again to 0.005.

Checked all standby voltages and power on voltages and seems ok , based on fixmyapp troubleshooting guy.

I dont get VCORE 1V and GDD6 RAM 1.35 voltages , but I suppose its because console shuts down just after starting.

Looking for short I found some caps and line shorted to ground with diode mode testing (0.001 ohms)

I tried to "follow" the short and removed some ic to be sure but the line is still shorted.

Can someone help me in understand what line is shorted or what that circuit is for?

Try to get your hand on a thermal camera (maybe borrow one). Injecht 1V 1.2Amps (limited from a workbench power supply) and watch which part heats up. Typically there is a dead capacitor in the majority of such cases. Or do the same an pour Isopropyl alcohol on the caps. If one gets hot, it will vaporise the alcohole much faster than the others.
