    PS5 EDM-010 3 Beeps

    Getting 3 beeps only when console is plugged into power, no lights. I was thinking a possible NOR issue but the uart codes are leading to something possibly more serious? EDM-010 disk edition. I didn't try clearing the error codes yet, wanted to backup the NOR first, CH341A programmer comes tomorrow.

    Error code: 80810001
    Description: General Power Failure (Peripheral, GDDR6, APU, Data Line Short)

    Error code: C00C0002
    Description: VRM Controller Failure, Check Mosfet (6414A) Located Side-A, Below Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. Check Infineon XDPE14286A 16 Phase PWM Controller - Located Side-A, Right of fuse 7001 - Single Beep, 1 second blue light, off.

    Error code: C0020303
    Description: APU Not Responding - Trying Init or Reboot - 3 - (User Submitted: System wont start Blue Light Flashes)

    Error code: 808300F0
    Description: Secure Loader Error

    Error code: 80000009
    Description: Unexpected Power Loss or Shutdown Failure

      Update: went ahead and cleared the uart codes and successfully booted to a white light no more errors on uart or beep.

          Hello.
          Have this old hp compaq nc6320 that came with one long and one short beep + backlight on. bios battery have only 0.5V. I remove it, but now it start beep some weird way. I think it is bios /one long + two short beeps+ baklight on/, but when i flash new bios from hp, no beeps and no backlight.

          Hi everyone,

          I received this PS5 for repair, and it’s been quite difficult to diagnose.
          It beeps once and turns off. The power draw goes up to 100W, then drops back to 0.20W. However, if I keep trying to power it on, it eventually turns on and stays on. I can play games without any issues.

          Once it's turned on, I can shut down and power back on normally.
          But if I leave it off for an hour or so, it starts beeping again and shuts down—back to square one.

          I couldn't find any shorts on the board.

          Hi everyone !

          So a friend gave me a ps4 to rescue but it just pulses blue and never boots. I can't get it to safe mode either (maintaining the power button never gives a second beep, except after like 15 seconds to force turn off). Nothing visible on the board and removing the hard drive doesn't change anything (SMART data are OK on PC).

          I'm trying to enable UART on the PS4 to get info on what it stops on, if a memory is bad, something is corrupted... as explained here : https://repair.wiki/w/PS4_UART_Guide

          Hi everyone,

          Can someone help me with a schematic/boardview of this phone?
          I'm looking to identify the rx and tx uart pins on the board.
          Because I want to use the usb-port for power and other things, I can not use the uart over usb method.
          I took some pictures but without the boardview/schematic it's a bit daunting.

          I have an HP Envy x360 15m-dr laptop which sometimes beeps 8 times on startup and sometimes gets no beeps at all (both with no picture).
          Power button light comes on, fans spin and stop after a few seconds, then screen stays black with no picture. If the machine decides to beep 8 times, it shuts off immediately after. According to what I could find, 8 beeps was corrupted BIOS.

          Made backup of original BIOS (attached). Attempted to flash BIOS with extracted bin file from HP BIOS update. Screen showed "Updating boot block", rebooted and immediately back to 8 beeps and...
