Hi everyone! I am in need of some advice for a recent HDMI replacement I have been working on for a customers Series X, they had a damaged port and the replacement work went by without issues. However when reassembled (partially to make it easier to work with) it will power on, sit for between 3 to 5 seconds, then shut off. I tested for shorts on the HDMI pins and found no issues, along with that the board itself appears fine, no visible damage. Sources I have found say that if it shuts down in that time range that there is a short on the 12V rail, and probing the primary power connector does seem to show there is a short. The issue I'm running into is this is the first time I've ran into this issue and need to collect info to run on before proceeding. I'm running into issues understanding the schematics layout and over all just not having a cool time. attached will be some photos of the HDMI port, the encoder, and the (I believe) 3.3V step up.
Needing help with an Xbox Series X powering off a few seconds after power on.

This Series X came in for shutdowns. If I press the power button, I get button illumination and one beep. After ~6 seconds, another beep is heard and it powers off.
I've tried a hard reset, but instead of the reset, I just get the 6 second shutoff. I also swapped out the PSU figuring that was most certainly it, but it was not.
I've torn it mostly down and a visual inspection to the boards - nothing of note there.

by grimacelordHello,
Have an Xbox One S here that has a short on the 12V power rail. There is no power, beep, or partial fan spin when connecting power cable.
After diagnosing with thermal camera, Q9F1 MOSFET (NTTFS4C50N) is getting hot. When I remove this MOSFET, the short on the 12V rail disappears.
I first replaced Q9F1 with one from a donor board and then partially reassembled the Xbox to test. When I plugged the power cord in, I got a partial fan spin and I thought I had fixed it, but unfortunately, the Xbox still did not power on. So I then disassembled the Xbox... -
by zklgfsHi,
I have an Anker SoundCore 2 (A3105) that I saved from the trash (well, I guess there's a reason why it was supposed to go into the trash...). The problem is that it always turns off after a few seconds (sometimes it stays on a bit longer, between 30 and 60 seconds, but it still turns off). The power light turns on and the bluetooth light starts blinking, but both abruptly turn off again. The "turn off sound" is still played after the lights turn off. Sometimes, it also loops the on-off cycle several times without me pressing any buttons. If I connect an AUX cable, music...-
