Needing help with an Xbox Series X powering off a few seconds after power on.
Hi everyone! I am in need of some advice for a recent HDMI replacement I have been working on for a customers Series X, they had a damaged port and the replacement work went by without issues. However when reassembled (partially to make it easier to work with) it will power on, sit for between 3 to 5 seconds, then shut off. I tested for shorts on the HDMI pins and found no issues, along with that the board itself appears fine, no visible damage. Sources I have found say that if it shuts down in that time range that there is a short on the 12V rail, and probing the primary power connector does...

Yoga 6-13ALC6 with a broken power button
Hello everyone! I am currently working on a Lenovo Yoga 6-13ALC6, the customer dropped the device and broke the power button, ripping one of the pads.
Issue we run into is the button doesn't seem to be provided anywhere, tried to look for it through mouser but got nowhere in the search. Does anyone know if there is a specific part number that could be found on the part or if there's any good locations for a scrap board to salvage from?

Well I might as well toss my hat in the ring! My name is Orio and I am at the moment still considered a beginner in all the intense sections of tech repair. My school offered PC repair classes, I thought it sounded fun but after that I was inseparable from repair work.
