Lenovo ThinkCentre M710q corrupted BIOS, password

My M710q, Machine Type 10MQ has an annoying problem that whenever it boots, i get a BIOS error "Error 0162: Setup data integrity check failure". It still works fine but it's quite annoying to use as a server since whenever there's a power outage, it won't boot until i can get to the physical device and press F2 to keep booting. It also has a BIOS password i can't remember.

I tried following the instructions for cleaning the ME region (https://winraid.level1techs.com/t/gu...lization/31277) and while i think i did it successfully, i'm still having the same issue.

I also can't get into the BIOS to try to load defaults because of the password. When i try to follow the password bypass instructions (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=87588), the tool tells me the dump is "corrupted or does not contain a valid dump" even though i've done the read multiple times and even did a verify.

I've attached my "cleaned" and verified read dump here.

Hey, that worked! Thanks! When I flashed it, on bootup it complained about no serial number or machine type so i did a BIOS update with the stock image and entered that info in and now it's working well.

Only remaining question is the system UUID is now all FF. Is there a way to update it to my previous UUID?

Thanka for the reply but I was able to figure it out another way. What I did was flash my original, bad BIOS back and wrote down the UUID. Then after flashing this working one, I used the official Lenovo BIOS update utility to wrire the UUID.
