Yes you`ll have to desolder it,unless you have a sop16 clip. Make a few backups and compare them to make sure the backups are the same,then post one of the backups here.
Edit: did it give you a code on the screen like i12345

No, without a code...this bios is just like at laptop elitebook G6, 3 mistakes and power off
