Re: Need N68-VS3 FX BIOS dump
Thank you, but I need the whole dump. It´s 4MB uncompressed. I´ve already uploaded the one I think is corrupted to the original post.
Edit. I´ll upload it here, since I can´t edit the original post.Attached FilesLast edited by Chester1994; 06-07-2022, 10:41 AM.Comment

Re: Need N68-VS3 FX BIOS dump
The bios you posted is from an N68-VGS3 FX,it has an 8Mb/1MB bios. The 4MB bios you posted is 1MB written 4 times onto the chip.
The N68-VS3 FX has an 8Mb/1MB bios https://www.asrock.com/mb/NVIDIA/N68...#Specification
8 Megabits is 1 MegaByte https://www.gbmb.org/mb-to-mbit
Flash the bios at post #2 or Download the "Instant Flash" bios version from the support site, extract from the zip folder https://www.asrock.com/mb/NVIDIA/N68-VS3%20FX/#BIOS flash to a 1MB chip.

by AhariHi all,
This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.
I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.
I...-

by James194ztHi,
My daughter has accidentally managed to kill her Acer gaming desktop it has a blank screen after updating and when you press the power button the fans spin, light comes on and it makes 1 long and 1 short beep and no attempt to boot.
All basic troubleshooting has been done we replaced CPU, GPU and RAM from a working machine and no joy, I also noticed a post on here with the same issue and it was the BIOS. I am pretty sure also because it was doing a BIOS update that stopped it working, she knocked the keyboard out by accident during the update and the screen just went...-

by mkdjDear all,
I have a ASUS ZenBook UX480F with the following symptoms:
I suspect it is a BIOS issue. So I decided to try to clean the ME region. I followed the guide on win-raid, and I believe I have done everything correctly. My problem is: when I open the outimage.bin in ME Analyzer, it says that it is Extracted, and not Region, Extracted as it should be. Is it normal, or did I do something not correctly? This is my first experience editing BIOS files.
I would appreciate if someone could take time to explain the issue, so that I can learn. But I would...-

by FalconPunchHello everyone, I happen to have a Microsoft Surface Pro X 1876 in my hands. It was brought to me by a friends which happen to have taken off the bios chip to test another motherboard. Upon putting back the bios chip on the original motherboard, The PC is stucked on Windows logo and won t boot to bios or anything. I suspect that the changes of bios chip somehow corrupted the firmware inside. Is the hypothesis correct?
Also i extracted the bios inside the chip which was on Winbond 25R128JWPQ you can find the file attached if you can fix it (if possible, I would like some insight on...-
