hi there..elitedesk 800 g1 sff working bios needed...i also checked hp site and extracted main rom from the file but it doesnt work...it seems its a general for this model but mine doesnt have any ati or nvidia gpu on board only intel...i also checked the 2 forums here that users shared bios files none of them worked too...mainboard had bad caps problems as usual and i replaced them all...same the psu...every thing is normal but i got no beeps..nothing at all only after few seconds fan spin higher...i think its corrupted bios may be the problem not super io...sadly dont have any cpu to replace and check this part too...i will post the extracted bios from mainboard and the recomended bios from hp here...if any one has the working dump bios file for this model and share it ,it would be great...thank you.

The extracted hp file is the right one for this model,its a virgin bios ,if it hasn`t worked then the problem is somewhere else. -

finally i got a cpu to check if its the problem or not...cpu with this model was i5-4590.....i replaced it with pentium g3240 and it worked fine....it booted and no other problem were detected.Comment

Actually i am from pak and there was problem in net and i failed to download yours backup file.
But which bios i uploaded up. its clean and 100% working. i tried it on so many sff pc. and everytime it works.
write bios on mx25l12805d
check batery cell and cmous jumper
if not get success then try to change the processor or ramComment

I recently purchased this on ebay and the seller is willing to accept a return but I have already installed my new HDs, NVME, and setup proxmox so I would like to keep it.

HP EliteDesk 800 G2 MINI/DM (1L PC)
I have 40 of these units. All of which i tried to update bios with HP's utility got bricked. All of them were bios password locked, i used the jumper thing to reset it. Couple updated bios, one of which worked fine for _ONE_ boot. Second is now mixed with rest, i don't know which it is specifically so have not retested it.
All had some MESpilock failed errors on (my) first boot of the unit.

Hi all,
as subject line says, I have a laptop that reboots after 30 minutes. Investigation leads me to believe that is due to intel ME as it happens everytime after 30 minute from boot, it just turns off, no overheating, nothing weird.
