Thank you! That fixed the machine!
Is there a tool or another way to transfer the DMI Data (S/N, UUID, Windows License) from the broken dump to the new BIOS?
I found a "Lenovo DMI Decryptor" Tool on GitHub, but it was unable to find the DMI block in my dump.Comment

DMI is not in bios, it is in EC.↵

Try the attached bios, your windows key has been added.
To enter the DMI run the bios update executable. Read steps 6 and 7 in the README ,and input y instead on n to enter the serial number etc.
Bios update - https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/t.../fwjybfusa.exe
README - https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/t.../fwjybfusa.txt
6. You will see the prompt "Would you like to update the Serial
Number?". Input "n" and press Enter.
7. Then you will see the prompt "Would you like to update the
Machine Type and Model?". Input "n" and press Enter again.
Then the BIOS update process will start.

Thanks for the effort! However, with that file, the machine does not POST, like with the original dump.

I don't know, whether the issue is actually in the "windows-key-section" or there is something else wrong.
I reflashed the clean BIOS and reprogrammed the S/N and Type/Model, so the machine is working again.
Also, Windows is still able to be activated, even though the Key is no longer present on the machine.
I will like the machine as it is now and say Thank you for all the help!Comment

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem
Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
Initial Findings:- My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
- I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
- I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
- I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
- I concluded that the

by WahazHello,
I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....-

by grimacelordHello there.
I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.
History:
1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.
I searched for this error online and discovered...-

by to5it0Need Clean BIOS/EC Bin File for Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e - Stuck with 0275 Error CMS
Hello everyone,
I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.
This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.
I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...2 Photos-

by mkdjDear all,
I have recently fixed a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 ALC6 that was not booting due to a BIOS issue. After flashing the BIOS, the laptop boots up, but hard disk is not recognized in BIOS. Is says "Hard Disk : Not Installed". I have tried with 2 different drives (one that I know is working on another laptop) but I get the same result. I do not know if disks were recognized before I got the laptop and fix it, but I don't see any reason why not. I can boot on USB though.
Here the steps I have taken to fix the laptop:
- downloaded latest BIOS from Lenovo Website... - Loading...
- No more items.
