Pc Specialist GM7TGxP Bios and EC Problem

    Hi All,

Currently struggling with this bios and EC Problem and hope someone with more knowledge might be able to help, so my laptop PC Specialist Ionico 17 ( Tongfang GM7TGxP / 11800h rtx 3070 ) had lower than normal resistance on the PCH, so before i changed the pch i attempted to flash a bios/ec from same type of laptop board ( i am not the original owner and PC Specialist would not help ) which did flash ok but no change, after that i changed the chip and all resistance readings from all rails were normal, so i turned the laptop on with the new PCH and it turned on as soon as i plugged the power in (did find that strange but ok ) then laptop would attempt to boot but but after 1 minute turn off, so i checked the power rail and give myself a small scare when the cpu had 1.8 on core... turned the laptop straight off, the PCH Was new and all seem fine but then i though that i had the bios from the one i found online ( attached under 111bbb ) when i re-flashed the original bios then the same as before, i got 19.5v / 5v / 3.3 / 1.8v and all ok up to 1.05 and the laptop seems to not be starting the PM States, if anyone has a answer or solution please let me know, i have attached all files.

    Thanks,
    Matt

Post the laptop serial number. Is that the original bios or the other one you tried. Where did you get the PCH from, was it from a donor, and if so from which motherboard model or was it from somewhere else.

The PCH Was from AliExpress, the laptop serial number is 218949901, image attached.

111bbb is the one i had installed after the replacement PCH, the original is GM7 Original.

      Thank you.

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
              by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

              [HELP] G712LWS BIOS capsule
              by TraJikar Mac
I need someone that can capsulate one of the bios files below, and i prefer the older bios version so i can flash it using CH341A tool into the bios chip.
The manufacturer BIOS files are bigger than the BIOSbackup1.bin files by 256KB and I don't know how to fix or recompile it.

You can see in this link a conversation between me and other people (Starting at page 10) who tried to help me (thanks to their efforts), but i still couldn't fix it and the laptop is considered as dead until now.

Also, I uploaded a backup file for the bios that I extracted by using CH341A...

Dell 9010 MT BIOS Update Always Fails
              by mikeybass
Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...
