Lenovo C560 AIO Supervisor PW removal

    Hello,

I own a Lenovo C560 AIO and unfortunately I can't remember the supervisor password I set back then. Do you have the possibility to patch my dump so that I can change or remove the supervisor password?

I have made a dump with my CH341:

So maybe the pw is contained in the EC and not the bios.

Okay, on an other device I did it myself. Was quiet easy with your help.
I just replaced the DMI-Part in the update file from the Lenovo homepage with the one from dump:
The DMI is locatet on 0x6C1000 (Where it says DMI šŸ˜‡...)
I did not recovered the Windows Key, that is propably at 0x425000

The toools I used: HxD and TinyHexer. For Flashing a cheap version of theCH341B and the AsProgrammer_2.0.3a

                Hope this can help someone.

Thanks again for the support here!

For Badcaps Readers, Please note that I am hopefully going to present this same message to Lenovo to see if they have any insight to the matter as well and figured to share the entirety here for clarification. The System is out of warranty as it is but does have the option to have it extended.

[REQUEST] 2MB BIOS Dump for Lenovo NM-E471 Rev 2.0 (Winbond 25Q16JWSIQ Chip)
                  by hyperwood
                  Hi everyone,

                  I’m looking for a 2 MB BIOS dump for a Lenovo IdeaPad 5 16ARH7H / Legion 5 with mainboard NM-E471 Rev. 2.0.

The BIOS chip is a Winbond W25Q16FW (1.8V, 2MB) and it's completely unresponsive / bricked. I tried recovery via USB but no success. Now I want to reflash it externally using a CH341A programmer.

I already found 32MB dumps (e.g. from Vinafix and Badcaps), but they are too large for the chip – and the last 2MB in those files are just FF FF FF....

                  āœ… What I need:
                  • A working 2MB BIOS dump
                  • Matching NM-E471 Rev. 2.0, e.g. JY575
                  ...

Help needed in unlocking BIOS Supervisor password - Lenovo X1 Yoga 5th Gen
                  by baaligoga
                  Good day, everyone!

I'm encountering an issue with my Lenovo X1 Yoga 5th Gen laptop related to the BIOS supervisor password. I'm seeking assistance and guidance from the knowledgeable members of this community in resolving this problem.

I am no expert and cannot perform soldering or unsoldering of the chip from the board. Therefore, I attempted to use an EZP 2023 programmer with a clip to extract the BIOS bin file without removing the BIOS chip from the motherboard. The BIOS chip has the following letters imprinted on it: "Winbond 25Q80DVNIG 2026". I used the...

Need BIOS Dump/ROM for Lenovo Thinkstation p500
                  by AHmad_Salal
                  Hello all,
I have a Lenovo Thinkstation P500 that is stuck at post with no display, it happened after I changed the memory timings in bios. I can not clear CMOS using the jumper on the motherboard, also tried re-flashing bios suing a USB stick but it also doesn't work. The only solution that I can think of right now is re-flashing the bios chip using an external programmer but the problem is that I don't have the bios dump of p500 for flashing externally and I don't know the location of bios chip. If someone can provide the bios dump and bios chip location it would be really helpful....

Lenovo X1 Carbon 7th Gen Type 20R1 BIOS DUMP

I have made two dumps of this bios, with the bios chip removed from the board and the hashes match on both dumps, but I cannot find the DMI information in the dumps except for the Windows product key, so I think it is corrupted. I have downloaded two bios updates from the Lenovo support site, but they contain small .PAT file, and 4 subfolders containing .FL1 and .FL2 files, which I don't understand enough to figure out how to use to fix my dump.

The problem with the laptop is that...
