Okay, on an other device I did it myself. Was quiet easy with your help.
I just replaced the DMI-Part in the update file from the Lenovo homepage with the one from dump:
The DMI is locatet on 0x6C1000 (Where it says DMI 😇...)
I did not recovered the Windows Key, that is propably at 0x425000
The toools I used: HxD and TinyHexer. For Flashing a cheap version of theCH341B and the AsProgrammer_2.0.3a
Hope this can help someone.
Thanks again for the support here!

There is nothing connected to the board. Not even the Wifi-card

Jeah... Sorry, mixed the readings..
when I apply a voltage from my laboratory power supply, ther is a current of 3A at 3V immediately flowing. But nothing is getting noticably hotter...
How can I find the the short circuit?

EDIT: I mixed the readings between working and broken😣
Okay,
on the broken board, that I need to run once again:
between Pin 5 and GND we have 0,3Ohm
between Pin 4 and GND 8,45KOhm
between Pins 123678 and Pin 4 10k (rising)
between Pins 123678 and Pin 5 440Ohm /Reversed Polarity: 500k
on the initial not broken board:
between Pin 5 and GND we have 2k (rising)
between Pin 4 and GND 11,65kOhm
between Pins 123678 and Pin 4 10k (rising)
between Pins 123678 and Pin 5 3kOhm (rising)
Could c19 be broken?...Last edited by mawa1105; 12-23-2023, 03:11 PM.

Hey,
I tried it again, with a desoldered part from another board. Same phenomenon. Its blowing imedeately and the Fan starts spinning continously.
Maybe there is sth. wrong with the "Think-Engine"? The IC U101, thats controlling this little Mosfet?
Also Im struggling to find where VCC3M and VCC3B is comming from?! Could you tell me on which page in the Datasheet it is listed?
Thanks for your awesome support....

Hi,
Resistance with power off:
5 MOhm, 55 KOhm, 0,2ohm.
The part is supersmall but As far as I can read on a similar looking one on the other side its F28 (Picture attatched)
Pin 1 is marked in another picture.
Thanks in advance
Mawa...

la-c582p blown transistor
I found a blown transistor (q24) in the picture. I replaced it, and it blew again 🤔
If I measure the Voltage while turned on without the transistor on the pads, it is 10V, 3.3V, 0V The resistance if turned on: High, High, 0.
Anny idea how I could proceed?

Mawa...

Hey Hoaca,
thank you, but on the broken one, same symptoms:
-fan full power if I press the power-button
-no POST
-Turns off on long press pwr-button
On the previous working one:
-fan+ keyboard backlight turns on for 1 sek
-turns off
-turns only on for 1 second again after disconnecting battery
Any furher ideas?

The Type should be 20FE-S1TD00
Sadly I can not read the SN. I guess one is MP-13LHES16/06 The other MP-********/04
And they could be wrong because the backcover of the mashines are interchanged from other broken ones.
Do you have suggestions where else to find the SN?
Regards Mawa...

Heeey again.
My first post was deleted, because I didnt follow the Board rulez (Sooooorryy!!)
background story:
I have two Lenovo Yoga 260. With a AIZS3 LA-CP582 Boards
One broke down, the fan started blowing after pressing the power button but it didnt POST. And the fan stayed on, on full power forever.
I took a Bios-Dump with a CH341A-Programmer from both Laptops.
I tried to flash the BIOS dump of the running one to the broken one but that didnt help.
Then, I tried to flash the dump from the broken one to the running and now both are dead,...

Hey,
im Mawa from germany.
I came across this forum because I love to repair or repurpose things. Especially electric or mechatronic devices.
I'm neither the biggest fan of what's called "throwaway-society" nor the overall consumption behavior the industry is supporting and keeping alive for capitalism.... (but that should probably not be the topic here...)
My last (successful) repair was a big flatscreen, I found in the dumpster, with dried caps...
I hope I can learn and help a lot on badcaps.
Cheers M
