Hi everyone,
I'm currently working on an HP Z4 G4 Workstation and Iโm in need of the 16MB BIOS file for this system. The motherboard is labeled:
๐ AS# L09990-001
Unfortunately, the system isnโt booting properly, and I suspect a corrupt BIOS. Iโm planning to flash it manually using a CH341A programmer, so Iโm specifically looking for the full 16MB SPI dump for the chip MX25L12873F.
If anyone has a working Z4 G4 and could share a dump (or knows where to find an official or clean version), Iโd be super grateful!

Just had a customer bring in a HP 14s-fq1010nm to do some maintenance.
After updating the BIOS to the latest (F.35) I get black screen (no backlight turning on). However the backlight turns on if I connect an external display to HDMI, but when booting to Windows, both displays remain black.
After disconnecting internal LCD, and plugging in external display via HDMI, it works on external.
I tried downgrading it using official method - using an USB drive with older BIOS version, but it fails, saying that the BIOS files are corrupted. I used about 5 different older BIOS versions... -
So I couldn't remember my bios password and since it was broken screen, I used to connected to the TV via Type C to HDMI. So I decided to remove the Bios chip and reprogram the Bios chip with ch314a.. when I try to solder Bios on the laptop, one of the Bios leg broke off.. I bought a new blank Bios chip so I can programmed by flashing on the bios. -

I would like to program the bios again, to rule out a corrupted bios.
However I run into a size error
The bios chip is a Winbond 25R256JVEN
Used my Xgecu T-48 to read the bioschip (using select chip as type XM25QH256B @WSON8, read somewhere... -
Hello.
Have this old hp compaq nc6320 that came with one long and one short beep + backlight on. bios battery have only 0.5V. I remove it, but now it start beep some weird way. I think it is bios /one long + two short beeps+ baklight on/, but when i flash new bios from hp, no beeps and no backlight.

Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried
