    Hi,
I have dell 3040M (micro). No picture , no amber lights, only constant white light. When remove RAM, beeps and flash 2 amber light. To me it seems bios problem.
I have attached ori bios. Can someone clear ME , hope it will work ok.
I have tried to flash bios from working one but it seems not responding, and
    no beeps when remove RAM.
Programmer is CH340 and I have successfully flashed and repaired 3050 with bios from this forum.

    Thank you in advance.
    Best regards,

Fixed. Working OK. After flashing bin file power on and leave it for 15-25min.
After that boot windows and flash bios 1.20. PC works ok.
I was ready to gave up , but

Hi, I'm facing a similar problem with my Dell 3040M micro.

I think my bios is also currupted.

So if I understand your last post:

1.- flash the rom with outimage1.bin
2.- power on the dell and leave it for 15-25min
3.- Power off / on and it's supposed to boot into windows
          4.- Update bios to 1.20

Did you insert your Service Tag nยบ in the outimage1.bin file?
During step 2, what color has the power on led?
Will it work if I use the same outimage1.bin file in my 3040M micro?

          Thanks and best regards.

Re: Dell 3040M micro bios ME clear

            Your steps 1-4 are correct.
Inside bin file is my serial number. you can change it by hex editor.
it is found on 2 places in bin file.
Led is constant amber than after 15 min white.
Yes you can use my bin it is ME cleared.

              Thanks for your fast reply.

Don't you mind and tell me your serial nยบ (service tag) so it will be easier for me to search and replace with mine?

I'll let you know of the results.

              Thanks a lot.

                my unit is sold.
pull your bios to bin than find yours serial number in hex.
remember position then you can find it in my bin.
it is in 2 positions. change serial on both position

Dell Optiplex 7010 micro bad BIOS flash?
                  by mrrubik
                  Hi folks,

I got a Dell Optiplex 7010 micro PC (Exact Model) with 8FC8 BIOS and locked out admin password. I attempted to remove the password by patching the BIOS via info from this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ssword-patcher
After flashing the patched the BIOS, the PC is unresponsive with a solid AMBER power LED (not documented in manual anywhere)

                  Steps I took:
                  1. Read BIOS with CH341a, verified hash twice
                  2. Patched

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
                  by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

Dell 9010 MT BIOS Update Always Fails
                  by mikeybass
Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

                  Dell 3080 Micro BIOS dead
                  by tracks
                  Hello all,

I have a Dell 3080 Micro with a problem. As it is right now, it seems to be boot looping, maybe... There's no output, just fan on and power led lights up and blinks off every 2 seconds or so.
Previous owner told me he bought it with a BIOS password, he tried to use a CH341A programmer with some random test clip and tried to mess with it while it was powered on. Now it won't boot.

I tried to dump the bios with an EZP2023+ but I can't get a consistent read. Every time the dump is different, so it's unusable. I think the BIOS chip is fried.

Dell Latitude 5400 Chromebook UEFI bios
                  by jhanra
Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.

so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…...
