So the computer works minus a flaw with the HDMI port. LCDs get detected but they won't display. I plug the LCDS into the Thunderbolt port no issue. HDMI port doesn't seem to display. So I plugged in multiple monitors and used the HDMI port and it detects the display but won't give an image. One time it gave a grainy colorful distorted image which makes me wonder if it's a bad HDMI port or Gpu Board? Anyone have any ideas? I am leaning towards a Bad hdmi, or bad D300 GPU or maybe the top logic board? I have never seen this issue before and would like to fix it. Any suggestions would help. I believe I have to replace the board that's faulty but would like to not waste time pin pointing the issue

Re: Mac Pro Late 2013 A1481 ISSUE
Let me rephrase this. Using multiple Thunderbolt ports all LCDS will display with multiple connected but when I try the HDMI it never works. It detects the display but won’t display an image. So I have two Thunderbolt to hdmi plugged in and fine. When I try the HDMI port nothing.sigpic

Re: Mac Pro Late 2013 A1481 ISSUE
Checked the pins and they are all in tact but I can take a look under the microscope. You don’t think it’s one of the GPUS? Because these are dual AMD D300 GPUs.sigpic

by StephenHave a Mac Pro that boots fine with an SSD if it has the OS on it. However when you wipe the OS and go back to reinstall (with external OS installer) it installs and formats fine, does the install process then after it almost finishes it goes to a blinking folder. So I tried internet recovery and guess what popped up? MONTEREY came up as the Internet recovery OS. So I went ahead and installed that, same issue again. It kept going back to recovery to install the OS when it almost completes. I know if I install it externally from another MacBook or Mac Mini on the SSD it will boot into the OS, but...

by StephenCan't seem to find it on here so sending a request. Did a search and nothing came up. We ordered 3 Bios chips for these Mac Pros (they have been installed with Monterey and we suspect it corrupted them firmware on the Machines) so we need to replace the bios with an older clean version to wipe it and update to Mojave.
These are not EFI locked. I believe the firmware is corrupted and needs to be cleaned up.-
