Hello everyone !
I'm trying to fix a dead RX 590 from MSI.
I found 2 dead part :
- a 220nF capacitor (C119) on the pci-e line who blew up.
- IC driver CHL 8510 (U4) picture attached
I changed the capacitor C119 picture attached
I can't desolder the IC Driver with my rework station, event blowing at 450°c. The tin doesn't seem to melt, I don't understand.
Is there a world that the chip fuse with the PCB ?
How can I safely remove the chip ?
And for remplacement, I can't find the reference 8510 657-11 n1813
I'm finding only other reference of 8510 chip
Would it be an issue to put another reference of IC 8510 ?
Thanks
