Mac mini 2006-2007 820-1900-a, won't start, no green light, etc!

Hi! This one is more of a personal challenge, I could not find the schematics nor boardview files, so here it comes. Bought very cheap, not working, start troubleshooting, AC adapter plug in, dc cable plug in, no green light, ON/Off button does not work, 3.3V and 5V present, no 3.42 or any other voltage present. On/Off buttton have 3.3v on one pin, if I short to ground, voltage drops. Because of no schematics I don't know which power supply is which, by guessing I start to measure voltage on one IC, ISL6269CRZ, U7800, probe slip from pin 1 Vin to pin 2, Vcc, magic smoke escape from U7800. After that I get very low resistance on coil to ground, upper Mosfet is shorted, I take out both transistor, short remain. So, if anybody know what U7800 is doing on this board, please share, because if this cip generates any voltage that goes stright to ICH or SMC is game over for this board. Also if anybody know which cip generates PPBUS_G3H, please share, I suspect another cip which also have low resistance on coil to ground measure. Many thank's, best regards!

Monitor Audio RSW12 - Green light, but no sound
          by MOSSEP
          Hi

Im hoping someone might be able to give me some idea of what may be wrong with my Monitor Audio RSW12 Sub.

Ive owned it since new in around 2002, so would really like to keep it running if I can, it was the first ‘decent' bit of audio equipment I ever purchased and is a little sentimental.

The issue I had was that it would power up with the red light, but sometimes the green light would not come on and I would get no bass from it. If the green light did come on though, I would get sound out of it.

I have already tried replacing all of the...

820-2610-A Sys onewire help, no green light. Please help from the gurus
          by lcdcaps1
          Hi

I have an 820-2610-A motherboard that has no green light.
I have noticed is when I do a SMC reset the light on the Magsafe blinks.
From My understanding, the sys onewire circuit is responsible for the green light on the magsafe
The sys onewire circuit on this model and others is more involved
I was hoping if anyone knows about this and how it works, can reply and let me know
I know this is an old model but I am sure there are people who still works on these or knows about them

I get 1.1v on the C7771 capacitor and will replace...

MBP A1286 820-2915 green light only, no start
          by blazzelia
          Hi guys,

I have this 2011 MBP - the company I was working for, bought it at the time for a project and gave it to me after that. Later on, I gave it to my daughter which used it for normal internet browsing and office apps. At some point the, now famous, AMD GPU issue hit this laptop as well. I disabled the use of the AMD GPU following some information I found at the time (the one that, at the end, one moved AMD kext drivers to a backup location). So the laptop was using the CPU graphics and it was ok for the said daily usage. I even replaced the drive with an SSD one and it was operating...
