Missing capacitor - Radeon HD 7850 2Go- Which values to choose?

    Hello to all

    I have a Sapphire HD 7850 2 go
I would like to have a little information about a capacitor to add and its value.
This graphics card turns on with fan running but no display in HMDI ouch.

After checking on the boardwiew exact and precise and I have only the boardview.

Indeed, it misses 3 capacitors of size 0402 of which 2 on the line +1.8 Volts is C1700 in 1 uF and 1 in C1704 on the line +1.8 V in 0.1uF
Finally, the C2208 at 0.1uF on the +MVDD line

My question is : However I do not have a 0.1uF capacitor so by what value can I add?By 100nF it is possible?
I only have these and I don't have a doneuse card.
Do you think it will not disturb the line?

Last question =D what does the rail +MVDD mean?

Thanks a lot in advance :grouper:

I added 2 capacitors in 100 nF which replaces the 0.1uf and one of 1uF and the problem remains the same with a black screen no signal in HDMI. I checked the + 5V line in diode mode and everything drops around 0.500 Volts. And I tested the resistors at the outputs of the HDMI all the values are correct compared to the diagram. Ideas the team?

Recapping Sony ICF-SW55 - verifying cap values
      by proxneo
      Dear reader

I am performing a repair on a Sony ICF-SW55, which includes recapping (some) of the SMD capacitors on the mainboard. I am looking for verification of their values. At the moment, I'm 95% sure I've got the right values, but it is hard to find some official, credible or multiple independant sources on this.

At the moment, I have selected replacements based on the following list of values:

      3 x 470uF 10VDC
      3 x 4.7uF 35VDC
      4 x 47uF 50VDC
      8 x 22uF 6.3 VDC
      1 x 220uF 6.3VDC
      5 x 100uF 6.3VDC

      Which...

Gigabyte Rx 5700 have missing Mvdd
      by Aliasgar Jamali
      Hello Guys

I have a Gigabyte RX 5700 which was having a burnt MOSFET problem, so I removed the drmos and isolated the burnt pads.

So after that, it was working normally. So for testing purposes, I ran unmark benchmark and within 1 minute the GPU crashed and showed green color, and turned off the display signal.

So initially I thought there might be a VRAM issue but later after diagnosing the board I found out there is no Mvdd on the coils

Need some Help guys. Thank you

      820-02020 PPBUS_AON missing
      by ugamazing
Board had no history of liquid; unsure of drop history, but no signs of damage of any kind worth noting.

Charger sitting at 5v/0a. PPBUS is at 1.9v-0.9v steady cycle (peaks, drains, loops). Confirmed CHGR_EN_MVR is missing, but DCIN was reaching ISL just fine, so replaced ISL--no change at all. Confirmed pp3v8_aon is also missing--and being unsure *exactly* which signal appears first (or if they are simultaneous), I inspected PMU/U8100 area and found no shorts, but also found PP3V8_AON_MPMU_ISNS_VIN missing (not shorted). Replaced U8100 just in case (have had them fail in weird ways),...

Apple NVIDIA AGP GeForce 6800 GT Dual Link DVI+DVI outputs 603-6338 missing caps!
      by jpreza
      Hi everyone,

I recently acquired this card from a seller who was selling a PowerMac G5 for parts. He mentioned that the video card was probably broken too.

Upon closer inspection, I can tell the reason why it won't work: it's missing a bunch of CAPS! (it's also missing an inductor - 1.0uH).

It's a nice card as it's one of the few AGP cards that will support 2560 x 1600 resolution on a PowerMac G5 using a 30" Cinema Display.

Looking at the card, it appears to be missing the following:

      1x 1.0uH inductor - orange square
      2x...
