Hi. What are you getting on the PCI Pins (12v, 3.3v) and the coil near the PCI slot?

On The coil 12v, 3.3v and 12v lines from pcie arent shorted. Volts are in. Restistance on 12v in ~100K Ohms, on the 3.3v line 2.6k Ohms. I

think this card has problem with initialization now, because all lines are working(i think). I dont know how to check communications between bios, core and motherboard. Crystal is getting warm when card is power on, thats why i use small cooler on it to measure voltages when working. I dont have osciloscope to check signals lines. Thanks for advice!

        No problem at all.

A quick question that may lead into a path to follow for you:

If the fans still are not spinning, what voltage do you have at the fan connector?

In your video you said you programmed the BIOS chip so that shouldn't be a problem. Yet, the fans don't spin at all (I assume based on the description). This would mean that there is a break somewhere on 12v rail.

The scary part is that the crystal/CPU is getting hot. This can often indicate a bad crystal (or at least one that needs reconnected to the PCB).

So see what voltage the fan is getting. I assume it will be less than 12v. Try to work back from there and I'll see if I can dig up any helpful info from my last repairs on AMD cards.

You right. Here is photo with fan connector. There is weird voltage on gate i mean 2.8v, i changed capacitos under this gate, and voltage calm down, but 2.8v still exist.

          https://ibb.co/jMmZhyZ
On second video was 11.80v, card was warmer, so maybe it was the reason for lower voltage than these picture.

When i get this card from my friend was like that (i speak here in polish). Fans restarting like voltages rails

This video is before videos in first post.

Thanks for your help, its my first contact with amd cards (repair i mean), and i'm still learning. In the past i repaired a few Nvidia cards.

Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.

              Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
              by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

This sums up discussion related to Lenovo P14s Gen5 in this thread. Credits go to Sbaro and especially Maxpower3. The locked dump is attached.

The device is based on NM-F871 motherboard with Nuvoton NPCK397 series controller. The motherboard also contains three BIOS chips: two different Winbond chips for main BIOS and external EC flash, and also a Gigadevice chip which purpose I do not know. The password information is contained directly in controller and thus can be manipulated by reprogramming it, so reprogramming BIOS chips is technically not required, however you may wish to make...

              Samsung QN50Q60t lines on screen
              by jeyoung12
              Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...

              Samsung QE50Q67TAU - horizontal lines
              by Rubenlily
              Hello,

First of all I'm new here. While looking I found this amazing forum and I'm very happy I did. Now for my problem:

I picked up a Samsung UHD QLED QE50Q67TAU from 2021 for $50 knowing it was defective. The seller said it had black lines and that it could get stuck in boot randomly.

I've tried a new power cable, hard reset, opening up and jiggling all cables, pressing everywhere to see if I get a reaction but I've gotten nothing. I've tried the tape method but I've only managed to get the lines worse.

I'm no expert but I've done the tape...
