I just swapped it from an MPG B550I Gaming Edge WiFi 7C92 to a B550M PRO-VDH WIFI 7C95, flashback is working, if anyone knows a reliable source for this chip besides taking it from a donor board, please leave a reply
For reference: Fintek F75504A 504AN 504N MSI BIOS Flashback MCU IC can be swapped to different models

by speaktorobSo a while back, to deal with the fan noise of the old blower style shrouds on the reference cards, I chucked it and installed the monster that is a Raijintek MORPHEUS 8069, with a couple Noctuas on it. Did the job but quite unwieldy tbh.
Anyone know which boards would have a compatible shroud for it? I know the EVGA used the reference board but wondering if any other manufacturers did. I want to put something sensible back on it, but I'm having a hard time getting hold of even a faulty reference board for a reasonable price.-

by RhorkHello,
I would like to know the reference of a QFN-20 because the reference marked on the chip does not give anything...
PC Reference : HP Pavilion - 15-cs0006nf
Motherboard : DA0G7BMB6D0 rev D
Reference marked on the chip: AWVAIL
Type : QFN-20
I didn't find a boardview or repair schematics
Thanks in advance... -
by Francesc V.Hi:
I have what it might seem a zener diode. It's marked as E57, but I haven't found any reference that might match my observations.
I've took one from the same circuit and tested isolated with the power supply and a 1k resistor. with 10V, the possible zener stays at 6.6V.
It seems a SOD123 package. It measures (2.6mm x 1.6 mm).
Any idea? it's a 6.6V zener?

by estabilitoHello, i just swapped CPU(i5-8350u) from fujitsu lifebook e548 to Dell Latitude E7490 Board, all resistances are fine, laptop wants to boot but after 1 second draw of 0,3A its turning off, after pressing power on button same situation. I've cleaned ME region and same situation. Is it boot guard problem - and if it is, is it any chance to bypass this or this cpu just can't be used in Dell.

by bociubHi there, My "old" gaming pc stopped working. I just tried to connect a stick to the USB-c port on the back and accidentally I pressed a button on the back of the motherboard. That was the flashback button and before that the pc worked seamlessly. After some google search I made a stick with the CAP file on it. I pressed the button and it started falshing and the LED on the pendrive did the same. After about 5 minutes both light went off then nothing changed. I repeated the process 4-5 times even with different stick, without bios battery, but no post at all(looks like it does not even...
