Well, I'm refreshing some old hardware as a project system. This consists in part of my old BH6 with P3-500 which I so dearly loved years ago. I'm gonna recap the regulars with Samxons, but the board is littered with other smaller caps. Some of which are just the likes of 10uF and 22uF, which will get Panny FC's(no 4mm in FM), but then there are these 100uF caps, some of which surround the RAM slots and reside in-between the bus slots.
On other(albeit newer) boards I have worked on, these 100uF caps are usually the likes of about 1000uF. I was going to replace these with equal value polymers just to
them out since they are so small, but could it be a benefit to move these guys up to a significantly larger capacitance or should I just go with the 100uF polymers?
