There are a 100 reasons possible for that. Have already given some tips here:

    https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...but-no-display

To give an example, I had once a board with same symptom, the reason was one bloody 0402 mlcc cap with a short in the power sequence logic. I found it by using root cause analysis tracking back the signals having wrong statuse to the source of the problem. But this is one of 100 possible reasons. Often also partially demaged chipsets are the reason - yes, this is possible and is not so seldom. Eg. I recently got a board which started to work by pressing down the chipset solicon with a finger. Thaught it needs reballing, did it twice, but did not help. That means that the chipset is demaged internally, some signal did not conduct, eg. a bonding of the chipset carrier board to the silicon is not reliable. Pressing helps, heating helps for a moment, but then it gets back to non-working condition. Chipset must be replaced even though it is principally ok.

      2007 Macbook logic board fault
      by tony359
      Good day all,

I got a 2007 MacBook from a friend. The fan was not working so it was overheating.
Once the fan was swapped, I installed an OS and it worked fine.

The board had quite a few corroded spots so I removed it, touched those spots with a soldering iron, washed the board in PCB cleaning fluid (I've done that many times), rinsed it with distilled water, dried it etc.

Unfortunately it doesn't work anymore. It does turn on, fan spins, power LED turns on. But no picture.

If I see that right, I have missed VCORE on L7100 (page 59)....

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
      by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

      Assuming...

LG OLED77G1PUA - No Video / Audio after a TCON Board change and Software Update
      by Hakuu
      Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

      More Details

Got the same exact TCON board from TVPartsToday and replaced it. But didnt transfer the EPPROM data (didnt...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

LG 55NANO77SRA TV – Menu scrolling by itself even after removing button board (Main Board EBU66792103)
      by ygorsan
      Hi everyone,

I’m looking for help with a persistent issue on an LG TV model 55NANO77SRA, which uses the main board EBU66792103 (also used in LG UQ80 and NANO75/NANO80 series).

      🧩 Problem Summary:
      • The TV keeps scrolling through the menu or selecting items by itself.
      • I removed the physical button board (the entire panel with power and volume buttons) and also disconnected the flat cable (CN202) from the main board.
      • The remote control is not in use (batteries removed), and the TV still shows the same behavior.
      • I
