    Alright I stayed late at night gathering information and reading around the forum and doing some trouble shooting, no matter what I did the card still doesn't post, I have read the beginners post and organisation rules and I have to agree that this thread is a disaster, is it possible to be deleted so I can make a more detailed and proper thread.
    now, to the point I found a broken resistor on the board, it's a 0 ohm resistor, as human nature I had the urge to just replace it from a car ECU, same thing.
    The card still doesn't post, here is the placement for that resistor

ID:	3255936this is the newly welded resistor in place a bit smaller but does the job.
    SO I measured all the 12v PCIe pins from the mobo and 3.3v and everything seems good, I also measured most voltage references requested, except for the BOOT block since i have no idea where to measure, and the different regulators blocks, I have gs7256, gs7103. which pins to measure?

    And my bios is 25x40clnig, and I read the pinout, but some people advice to short pins 1 and 8 and some other 1 and 5, and it doesnt work for me, but for shorting pin 1 and 5, 5 is SPI is that dangerous?
    So I measured the pins and some of them are 3.17 some have no voltage. After reading through the datasheet VCC max voltage for this chip is 3.18, so I guess it's too close to limits, can anyone confirm.

    I made a table which I will update soon and add the close up pictures of the board in case anyone needs them for reference in another thread.

    So I researched more about the 8 pin connectors of the rx580 and some people mentioned that the pc will boot normally if you dont plug the cables, I don't know if it's the same for the Armour MSI edition, and I tested the 8 pin connectors and they all have voltage,and every though I disconnect the 8 pins there is still power to the bios.

    First: you need boardview (MSI) because MSI boardview can be same structure of all this brand model
    Second: you need road map voltage and mesure follow this
    Third: All High members are so uncomfortable because you didn't post the result after mesure, and can't how to help you.

    Road Maps Voltage for AMD Graphics Card
    12v Rail,3.3v Rail (have first, if 3.3v short stop mesure because gpu was dead)=> 1.8v => 0.9v at GS9230 (or GS9238,APW8713) => 0.9-1.1v GPU => 1.35-1.75v RAM => 0.9-1.1v Boot

    And result after when you were informed of block?
    12v Rail => ?
    3.3v Rail =>?
    5v Block =>?
    1.8v Block=>?
    0.9v Block (GS9230,GS9238,APW8713)=>?
    0.9v GPU Block=>?
    1.5v Ram Block=>?
    1.01 Boot Block=>?

    If all results are good last you flash bios on your graphics card

    The sub 12v from 8pin PCIE it supply for vrm 80% and main 12v rail supply for vrm 20%
    READ,LISTEN,WATCH BEFORE YOU ASK SOME THING

    IF anyone can confirm about the coils resistance being different than others please do.

    PCIe power must be attached for this specific card? Does it show the "plug in power cables" screen, if anyone has this card please try it and reply to me.
    I have a background in electronics and programming but not much in gpu repairs.

    PS: the core was getting warm and hot enough when plugged! So I guess it's receiving power
    if u watch some videos u know starting sequence and what to measure first

    RX580 MSI armor OC 8gb no post

    I have a card that does post at all, the owner said it does go into windows but it gets stuck on the logo with artifacts, I have no idea if he is lying or not... I tried the card on my pc and it does not post at, no beeps, no bios nothing just all fans turning and nothing else. I tried plugging DVI or hdmi but nothing, I tried unplugging the 8 pin plug from the power supply and it's the same thing.
    I just want it to post and get into the bios at least.
    Forgive me if I am wrong, but I tested the 3 PCIe 12v power pins on the left(550ohm) and the 4th one from the right 3.3v (400ohm), and there is no short, i tested the 8pin connector (475ohm) on the power pins to ground, and I have tonl switch the multimeter probes so it doesn't show an erratic readings because of the capacitors.
    Now after my understanding of GPu repair these look fine, so I started testing coilsI will post pictures instead, because I dont know what most of them are for.

    now I don't know if these coils are all for vram, since there are 8 coils and 8 memory chips I supposed they all should be the same, but the 2 on the left are reading differently?

    I have several questions.
    - Can you power the card without the 8 pin connector? Does the PC boot and post without it, can anyone test this for me please.
    - What should I test next? I have read several articles and watched many videos, but I cannot pinpoint on this exact card.
    - Can a molex to 8pin adapter power this card enough to post? Since I have seen most people use it, and there are 2 12v pins connected to each other instead of being separate, does that do anything since i read somewhere that the gpu 8 12v pins are separate and not interconnected.

    thanks guys, and later I will be posting some close up macro images of the card for future reference in case anyone needs them as onboard view or to check for missing parts!

    PS: I have tried this card on another pc with an ASrock h61m and the same thing happens it just keeps spinning but at least some LEDs turn on on the PC but nothing no display and nothing.
