Re: Epox 8rda+
Personally, I wouldn't worry about the capacitors below 1000uF as most of the strain is on the capacitors with the higher value of capacitance, I've only ever replaced 3 470uF units compared to over 100 >1000uF components
Big Pope's SamXon capacitors are certainly a cost effective replacement, especially considering my first ever 'big' recap used locally sourced Low ESR Hitano's @ approximately $0.90~$1.20 each

Re: Epox 8rda+
Hiya!
I'm in Adelaide, S.A. as well!
My 8RDA+ just gave up last night. Close inpection reveals a few caps with brownish gook (now dry and powdery) that has leaked from their tops.
I'm a software guy rahter than a hardware guy; is there anyone local that might be able to replace the caps for me, for a price, of course?
Thanks in advance,
Grumbyuk.

Re: Epox 8rda+
Grumbyuk,
I too am located in Adelaide. I've recapped a few motherboards and soon will be attempting my Antec PSU that has just let go.
I've done an old Asus a7v133, 2 msi boards and an epox 8rda3+.
Give it a go your self. Grab a nice soldering iron, some light solder, a flux pen, and a little desolder copper braid.
Recapping takes too much time and its not exactly an enjoyable process so you'd be either doing it your self or buying another m/board.Say no to Fuhjyyu!
