15 Grand Caravan radio cuts out..
My friends 2015 Grand Caravan, radio cuts out for a few seconds, then comes back... He had someone play with the antenna wires AM/Fm and XM.. it seemed to help... SO they jammed a screw by the antenna connectors and that works for about 2 months... Now its doing it again... I popped the cover off ad re-flowed both connectors... No joy... Any radio techs that can lead me in the right direction ?

Reccomendations for Mac fan/audio connector.
While doing a keyboard on my A1278 Mac Book Pro , I knocked off the connector for the speakers on the logic board.. Same style connector as the fan..
I have a new connector, pads on the logic board look good... How would you recommend I go about this ?? Soldering iron or hot air ? If iron, what tip should should I use ? (Hakko T-18 tips), also what temp ? If hot air, what settings ? I haven't done much work this small... Willing to take a crack at it, but don't want to mess it up...

Re: Snap On Verus Pro
Is this a USB chip... Traced several pins from the USB to here... Too many to be coincidence......

Other computers see the connections, unknown device, no drivers loaded.. They seem to have some function... I plugged a USB mouse in the Verus, no response...

Trying to source USB port..
Looking for the following USB port, have not had any luck... Note the offest and the pads to solder it on the PCB... Suggestions, or links would be appreciated.....

Snap On Verus Pro
OK something out of the box... Diagnostic scanner for cars that runs Windows XP. My tool guy got it on trade for a newer unit... Originally I was going to offer him something, it has a 4 channel lab scope built in.. It doesn't recognize the scope module (plugs into the rear of the unit), can also be run externally via USB cable.. It also has a wireless scan module ( you plug this into the cars OBDII port), it doesn't see that either...
The software crashed on him so he gave it to me to tinker with.. There is a recovery partition in it and I re imaged the unit.. Boots fine but...

Re: Samsung un32eh5000f No backlight.
Thanks for the explanation on the voltages, I had the feeling it was the strips... Disassembly was a bit of a pain, thank god it wasn't a bigger panel... There might be firmware update to address the LED life issue, but I will turn them down....

Re: Samsung un32eh5000f No backlight.
I was thinking open circuit with the readings.. Is there anyway to bench test them ?
What voltage should I expect, I couldn't find a schematic or service manual for it...
