EVGA GTX 1060 3gb blown mosfet

hi, i start saying i am a noob and maybe i am asking something really stupid

i have a blown mosfet (q521) that burned around him every pins.

I noticed , watching this boardview ( gtx 1060 evga 6gb)that these 4 pins followed a circuit on the left , may i ask you if i can fix everything using some pad strips and attach everything on the small copper line you can see on the photo ?
Also, may i know what does this mosfet do?
what is 12v_f/steer ?

P.S. Sorry if i am asking something really stupid but really , i don t even know where to start

Try to clean the area around the burnt area carefully and see if there are any circuit pads left if not it might not be repairable

Try looking up "burnt mosfet repair" on YT. Lots of videos deal with this issue, mosfet repair, pads rebuilding and how much grinding you must do to check if the lower layers are affected or not.
