    Dlink Modems Firmware Dump Promblem

    Hi there

    I have 6 D-link modem in three different model 2700u,27430u and 2460u

    2700

The problem is in each couple of those I have one working and one dead modem
I read working modem bios/firmware and use this dump file to write on dead one's bios, but no chance and modem not even power up.

when I change just EEPROM IC of 2 working D-Link modem but use original data they wont turn on but with their original hardware and DATA file they're ok.so i think there must be something that I not aware of something like saved IC identity somewhere

but in other hardware like tp-link modem it's not an issue
and i can use different EEPROM ic or different dumped file without any problem
so what's the problem with D-Link modems?

another question: how should I read data with JTAG pins?

If you guys need any data , Bin file or dump Data or any image please let me know.

fist you need to bring the firmware back to what it was. Use a TTL to hook up to those pins. Try to clear the nvram and see what that gives.

      Hello to everyone ,

This is my first post here, and i would like to share with you a small story in case you can help me.

Docker Type-C Gen 2 - Model 40AS. Was given to me by a friend for free ,but with the problem that you cannot use the video output ports.

All ports work , USB , Ethernet, Type C ... but HDMI + Display Port don't work

I searched on reddit and google for problem similar to that, and a LOT of people had fixed this problem by updating the firmware. So i tried , i searched and found 1.1.13 utility and 1.1.20 utility that can help...

Anker SoundCore 2 Bluetooth Speaker Turns Off After a Few Seconds (Possibly Firmware Issue?)
      by zklgfs
      Hi,

I have an Anker SoundCore 2 (A3105) that I saved from the trash (well, I guess there's a reason why it was supposed to go into the trash...). The problem is that it always turns off after a few seconds (sometimes it stays on a bit longer, between 30 and 60 seconds, but it still turns off). The power light turns on and the bluetooth light starts blinking, but both abruptly turn off again. The "turn off sound" is still played after the lights turn off. Sometimes, it also loops the on-off cycle several times without me pressing any buttons. If I connect an AUX cable, music...

      Ubiquiti firmware help. US-8-150W POE
      by gurj1979
      Hi guys.

I've got a Ubiquiti US-8-150W POE switch which has issues with updating the firmware.
Turned out to be a bad EEPROM chip. It would read the firmware and work as normal, but failed to write new firmware to it.

So I took off the chip and read on EEPROM and saved it. Wrote to old chip and failed to write
Got New chip and writes good.

      THE PROBLEM...
It fails to fully load the firmware, POE lights fail to work during g firmware test during load. I'm suspecting bad EEPROM Read.

Does anyone have a Good Firmware I can have?...

      AOC AG493UCX 49-inch monitor - Firmware request
      by wattage
      Hello Badcaps Community,

I purchased a preowned AOC monitor that is not working and out of warranty. It was sold as not working. I am looking for guidance on self-repair. In particular, I am after the firmware for the monitor. At the end, I have included monitor model information and links to pics and vids of the issue.

The problem is that it will not display a picture on any of its inputs. And the on-screen menu does not appear. The power button works properly. It powers on with the remote as well. But the on-screen menu does not appear, even when not connected to any...

NP930XED Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro Laptop PD Firmware Loop
      by sikocan
      Hello,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share a recent experience I had with a laptop that had a Type-C Port issue, specifically related to a PD (Power Delivery) controller problem. After replacing the damaged PD controller chip with a new one I purchased from AliExpress, the laptop now charges properly and negotiates power as expected, allowing the device to power up. I've replaced this chip twice just in case.

However, it seems that the laptop's BIOS is detecting an older version of the PD Firmware on the newly installed chip. As a result, it attempts...
