Netgear router, model R7200 [similar to R6800, R6700v2] pressing power button, the WiFi LED glowing solid white, with NO Power LED light… so no boot up properly! Done the hard reset for 30/30/30sec …no change. Checked the power adaptor voltage output= 12.02V
Remove the cover and check all components … no visible damage. The inductors and solid capacitors show reasonable voltages [between 12.0, 5.0 ,3.3 and 1.0V] except L10 and C205 = 0.67V, [my guess is kind of low].
The U21 and U23 ICs [voltage reg] have similar application circuit but unable to identify the datasheet. The voltage at R164 is 1.0V and R162 only 0.67V. Without schematics is hard to find the culprit. I would appreciate any help…
