This is the same monitor as per this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=7414
I had replaced the capacitors previously and so far it has been working fine.
But tonight I sat down at my computer and heard a weird noise like something squeaking, which appeared to come from the direction of the monitor.
It was not continuous, and happened in bursts of random length. During this there was no flickering backlight or picture loss or anything.
I hit the power button but the noise continued. Then I pulled the plug, and the noise was no more.
So I think it was the monitor somehow, but I have no idea what could make this noise.
At the moment it seems to be working fine now, although there does seem to be random popping\clicking noises (not very loud)
However that may just be the something expanding while warming up again, it's a very cold night...
Any ideas\thoughts?
